Leah works on a wide range of immigration matters. She routinely advises clients and works on applications for judicial review at the Federal Court of Canada for a diverse range of visa refusals. She regularly assists clients with applying for temporary and permanent resident applications, including work permits and Start-up visa applications.
Leah's practice includes advising international students from the start of their studies in Canada, planning for eligibility under the Federal Skilled Work or Canadian Experience Class or Provincial Nominee Programs, applying for Post Graduation Work Permits and permanent residency. She assists international students and temporary workers maintain their status and resolve visa issues that may arise.
Before joining our firm, Leah completed her articling term in the field of immigration and refugee law where she worked on humanitarian and compassionate applications, pre-removal risk assessment applications, and applications for judicial review for both immigration and refugee matters.
She is fluent in both English and French with intermediate knowledge of Spanish.
